Child Abuse is everyone’s business.
April each year is dedicated to recognizing child abuse prevention month, along with other prevention and awareness months, such as month of the military child, sexual assault prevention month, and more.
Marketing these awareness months, we have recognize and work with the sensitivity, audience demographics and privacy of families.
The MCCS Yuma Marketing team worked with Family Advocacy Program manager Rebecca Robinette to create a positive hands on campaign, along with dissemination of DON requirements.
I personally contributed to this campaign in 2020 as the VoiceOver for the Pinwheel video, along with the onsite marketing representation for the signing of the Pledge Banner to end child abuse.
This campaign meant a lot to me, especially as we understand the increase in domestic and child abuse cases increased globally during the 2020 Pandemic.
